X-Country Ski Club 

Liability Insurance extends to club hikes. No individual non-member may participate in a Club event as a guest more than one time each year.  All guests must complete and sign a waiver
(CCC Informed Consent and Assumption of Risk) form prior to the Club Event.  The form is available on the website.

 Hike leader should keep track of each participant’s name and the distance covered for the hike to pass on to the executive.

 Leaders should be familiar with route and each hike should include a sweep.

SPring  SchedulE 2019

Wed. May 8th--Riverwood Conservancy, Mississauga, with lunch at Erin Mills Pump and Patio--Hike leader: Margaret Ramsay

Thurs. May 23rd--Marie Curtis Park, with lunch at Woody's Burgers, 3795 Lakeshore Blvd. W.--Hike leader George Lorenz. Please bring a small garbage bag and gloves for our annual cleanup of trail trash.

Wed. May 29th--Humber Bay east to Sunnyside--  Hike leader: Vicki McCudden.
Wed. June 6th--Waterfront Trail to Rhododendron Gardens, lunch in Port Credit--Hike leader: Dawn Pollard
Wed. June 12th--Bruce Trail, Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area to Crawford Lake Conservation Area, Approximately 4 to 5 hours, 15km, with a break for brown bag lunch.--Hike Leader: Pam Lapalme 

Thurs. June 20-TBA      Hike Leader: Christina Campanelli.

Notes to LEADERS


In Spring and Fall we run a Hiking program.

Please contact Linda Hollohan ( or Margaret Miller ( for information or to lead a hike.

Details and a reminder of remaining hikes will be sent via email as each date approaches.  You'll be asked to contact the Hike Leader to sign up for each hike!  

If hikes need to be cancelled, you will be notified by 7:30 am on the day of the hike at the latest.
